Community Outreach

Community outreach is an important part of the services provided by FCC. Outreach is designed to increase community awareness and to gain support for victims and survivors of violence and abuse. To meet the goal of being accessible to the four counties we serve, we have established satellite offices in each of the counties. FCC’s main office is located in Sioux Center, with satellite offices in Primghar, Sibley, and Rock Rapids.

The basic goals of community outreach include the following:

  • to provide services within our four county area.
  • to create awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault.
  • to provide training and education to civic and professional groups in our community.
  • to provide prevention and education to our youth in our school systems.
  • to distribute brochures and literature to community agencies and to the community at large.
