Sexual assault is a crime of violence, anger and hostility meant to degrade and humiliate the victim emotionally and sexually. It is NOT lovemaking. It is an act of aggression, against one’s will. It is a humiliating, often terrifying, and brutal crime.

  • Other forms of sexual violence

Sexual assault is an act of violence used to control the victim. Sex is the weapon and power is the motive. Anyone can be a victim. Male or female, child or adult.
