Giving Flight to All in Need

A store with treasured items for sale: new or gently used furnishings, and  household items, clothing, quilts, jewelry, and miscellaneous articles.

Proceeds are used to offer hope and security to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault by providing resources for Family Crisis Centers of Northwest Iowa.

Free Services for victims of violence. Clients of the Family Crisis Centers of NW Iowa will have the opportunity to receive needed items at no charge.  Client service areas: Lyon, O'Brien, Osceola, and Sioux Counties

 

Melissa's Story

On the eve of Thanksgiving, Melissa was abducted, brutally beaten, molested, and left to die in an abandoned car.  Thanksgiving morning Melissa's family awoke in a trauma center where Melissa was fighting for her life.  The smell of turkey roasting in the cafeteria lingered down the hallways; it was their only sense of reality during this tragedy.  Four days later, Melissa was released from the trauma center.

 

Today Melissa is a well-adjusted, wonderful young lady who strives to make the lives of others more enjoyable and pleasurable.

Melissa's Hope Chest donates 100% of all profits to serve victims living in our communities.  Help prevent children from enduring pain and suffering.  Together we can make a difference.
