Melissa's Hope Chest

MELISSA'S STORY

On the eve of Thanksgiving, Melissa was abducted, brutally beaten, molested and left to die in an abandoned car.  Thanksgiving morning Melissa's family awoke in a trauma center where Melissa was fighting for her life.  The smell of turkey roasting in the cafeteria lingered down the hallways; it was their only sense of reality during this tragedy.  Four days later, Melissa was released from the trauma center.

Today Melissa is a well adjusted, wonderful young lady who strives to make the lives of others more enjoyable and pleasurable.
